#000000;">Wilbert Rowell<br />Re-elected President</td> </tr> </table> ATLANTA, GA - The Southeastern Dock & Marine Council, International Longshoremen s Association, AFL-CIO held its quarterly meetings this past Sunday, November 22, 2009 here in Atlanta with elections conducted for the four top offices. <br><br> Wilbert Rowell was re-elected President of the Southeastern Dock & Marine Council, which is comprised of the ILA locals in the South Atlantic region from North Carolina south to Florida. Rowell, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer of the South Atlantic and Gulf Coast District and an International Vice President from Wilmington, North Carolina, captured 20 out of 24 locals against his challenger, Kenneth Riley, president of ILA Local 1422 in Charleston, South Carolina and an International and South Atlantic and Gulf Coast District Vice President. Benjamin Bryan, an International and District Vice President from Savannah, was re-elected Vice President and ran unopposed. Romia Johnson, President, Local 1408 in Jacksonville, Florida, captured the Secretary-Treasurer s position with 20 out of 24 votes, besting Vincent Cameron, former President of ILA Local 1408.
